Trillium believes Standardized Comprehensive Clinical Assessments are a critical piece in the service delivery system. Use of the Comprehensive Health Assessment for Teens (CHAT) and Behavioral Health Index-Multimedia Version (BHI-MV) will enable providers to make more accurate diagnosis, develop more thorough treatment plans and ensure that individuals receive the appropriate interventions. Using this innovative technology allows Trillium to yield data to identify trends in adolescents and adults seeking Mental Health and/or Substance use treatment earlier on in the treatment planning process.
Comprehensive Health Assessment for Teens (CHAT)
This standardized and evidenced-based screening tool that expands 12 domains has proven to increase overall self-disclosure from adolescents (ages, 13-18) when entering treatment. The Assessment tool is provided to adolescents on a tablet. Teens are allowed to respond to questions from the 12 domains while in a private setting and at their own pace.
Behavioral Health Index-Multimedia Version (BHI-MV)
The Behavioral Health Index-Multimedia Version (BHI-MV) includes 9 domains with additional content areas. The standardized and evidenced-based assessment tool is provided to adults on a computer or tablet. Individuals completing the BHI-MV meet with a clinician at completion of the assessment.
