Concientizacion Comunitaria

Trillium Health Resources recognizes monthly awareness events sponsored by local or national organizations and agencies. By helping to publicize these events, we bring attention to these causes to help reduce stigma and share the need for the proper services to address them.

Trillium coordinates services for serious mental health, substance use, traumatic brain injury, and intellectual and developmental disabilities in 46 counties in North Carolina. We work within our local communities to help everyone reach their fullest potential by also, promoting programs, initiatives, and supports outside of contracted services.

Each October, during National Disability Employment Awareness Month, or “NDEAM,” we celebrate the value and talent workers with disabilities add to America’s workplaces and economy. NDEAM’s purpose is to confirm our commitment to ensuring disabled workers have access to good jobs every month of every year. That’s the spirit behind this year’s official theme: “Celebrating Value and Talent.”
