Junta de Asesores Regionales
Trillium Health Resources has five Regional Advisory Boards, keeping a close connection for important decisions and local input. These Advisory Boards, in turn, elect representatives to the Governing Board.
Responsibilities
- Recommend priorities for expenditures of state/county funds for development of the annual budget.
- Monitor resolution of issues
- Identify community needs and concerns
- Make recommendations on the services offered by Trillium
- Monitor performance at the regional level
- Reinvesting In Our Communities
Trillium receives funding from each of our counties. Much of this funding is invested back into those local communities, supporting the types of programs and service needs identified through our relationships and board members.
Trillium Health Resources has a 2-tiered governance structure to keep governance close to the communities we serve through Regional Advisory Boards. These Advisory Boards, in turn, elect representatives to the Governing Board.
Purpose
- To involve local stakeholders to respond to unique community needs and priorities
- To promote understanding and collaboration at the local level
- To provide local participation in monitoring the performance and services within each region
Composition
- One (1) CFAC Chair or Designee
- Two (2) members from each county, appointed by respective Boards of County Commissioners
- County Commissioner or Designee
- Other appointees who meet criteria outlined in G.S. 122C-118.1

Northern Regional
Cadence and Location
Northern Regional Advisory Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday bimonthly from 4 -6 pm (January, March, May, July, September, November) at Trillium’s Ahoskie Office, Ahoskie Boardroom, (144 Community College Road, Ahoskie, NC 27910) from 4 - 6 p.m. Meetings are in person and virtually, open to the public.
