Side by Side With DMH/DD/SUS

This webinar will feature organizations from across North Carolina that are working to reach people in new ways, build trust within their communities, and improve access to care. Through community stories and real-world examples, participants will hear what these organizations are learning and how their approaches are helping more people get connected to support.

In recognition of Overdose Prevention Awareness Day, this meeting will provide an overview of recent Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) expansion efforts and discuss what access looks like in both community and incarceration settings.

Also touch on the role of peers in supporting engagement and share information on how to distribute naloxone through your programs. We look forward to connecting and continuing our shared efforts to strengthen overdose prevention across North Carolina.
