Trillium believes Standardized Comprehensive Clinical Assessments are a critical piece in the service delivery system. The information used through the Comprehensive Health Assessment for Teens (CHAT) and Behavioral Health Index-Multimedia Version (BHI-MV) enables providers to make more accurate diagnoses, develop more thorough treatment plans and ensure that individuals receive the appropriate interventions. Using this innovative technology allows Trillium to yield data to identify trends in adolescents and adults seeking serious mental health and/or substance use treatment earlier in the treatment planning process.

Comprehensive Health Assessment for Teens (CHAT)

This standardized, evidence-based screening tool has proven to increase overall self-disclosure from adolescents (13-18 years old) when entering treatment. The Assessment tool is provided to adolescents on a tablet. Teens are allowed to respond to questions from 12 topics while in a private setting and at their own pace.

Behavioral Health Index-Multimedia Version (BHI-MV)

The Behavioral Health Index-Multimedia Version (BHI-MV) includes 9 domains with additional content areas. The standardized and evidence-based assessment tool is provided to adults on a computer or tablet. Individuals completing the BHI-MV meet with a clinician at the completion of the assessment.
