Trillium providing funds for NAMI Guilford Hub
$150,000 will enhance opportunities for peer support, mental health education, 
and access to resources

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Trillium Health Resources is providing $150,000 to help develop the NAMI Guilford Hub. NAMI Guilford serves residents across Greensboro and High Point and surrounding areas with free mental health support, online groups, resources and education.

There are an estimated 500,000 people in Guilford County who could use mental health services. Navigating the system can be overwhelming and isolating, and NAMI Guilford currently has no physical location to support people on their journey to mental wellness.

The NAMI Guilford Hub will guide individuals and families through the behavioral health system, provide innovative approaches to services and improve access to care. The dedicated space will be utilized for evidence-based programs and education to reduce stigma, promote early intervention and expand access to resources. NAMI Guilford will continue to empower and engage individuals and families with lived experience as they create this welcoming space to simplify resource navigation and ultimately support individuals, families, loved ones, and communities.

Planned impact of the NAMI Guilford Hub will be: 

• Expanding ability to connect people to resources and care for mental health by having a physical location in Guilford County
• Empowering lived experience and peer support specialists
• Increasing volunteer corps and connectivity with community partners
