Launched in 2015, the Play Together program is one of Trillium's flagship community investments, focused on expanding access to inclusive outdoor play environments. The initiative provides grant funding to develop ADA-accessible playgrounds in rural and underserved communities across the region.

As of 2025, the program has supported the development of over 36 completed playgrounds, with an additional 8 in active development, representing more than $20 million in total investment. These spaces are intentionally designed to allow children with physical, cognitive, and developmental disabilities to play and engage alongside their peers-fostering inclusion, social-emotional development, and family community-building.

The initiative not only enhances recreation access but also contributes to community well-being, intergenerational connection, and positive perceptions of disability inclusion at the neighborhood level.
